by P Hawkins
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

P Hawkins of Exeter wrote Dodger for the 1K ZX-81. Dodge the ghost 'z' with
the cursor keys and eat as many black squares as you can. The ghost can move
faster than you but cannot move through black squares. After listing the
program, type in these POKE statements and press NEW LINE after each:
	POKE 16514,1
	POKE 16515,0
	POKE 16516,0
	POKE 16517,42
	POKE 16518,14

ZOMBIE ISLAND
by Guy Gratton
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

You have been shipwrecked on an island inhabited by semi-human zombies.
You must evade them and destroy them by luring them into the sea around
the island, or into the graves with which the island is dotted.

Move using the usual cursor keys. When the program begins a map of the
island will be displayed for a short time before the instructions
appear. [No, it isn't. The instructions are displayed, then the map. JimG]

Zombie Island was written for the 16K ZX-81 by Guy Gratton of High
Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

BIG TRAP (Circuit)
by D Pih
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

You are an Electric Current running round a circuit board. Go up with 1,
down with A, right with P and left with I. After the game your circuit
time is given. The program was written by D Pih, aged 12, of Ellesmere
Port, Cheshire for the 16K ZX-81.

BARS (ZX-81)
by Ashley Morris
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

Ashley Morris, aged 12, of Waltham, Grimsby, wrote Bars for the 1K ZX-81.
He has had his ZX-81 only a few weeks and this is his first program. Try
and break down the wall into bars by steering into it with keys 6 and 7.

SHOW JUMPER
by Carl Kropacz
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

Tackle the jumps in Show Jumper by Carl Kropacz for the 16K Spectrum.
You collect faults if you do not jump properly. Improve your score or
go to a higher level.

SEED CATCHER
by K Brown
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

Catch the seeds in your basket before they spoil your crop. You can
manage to carry only 10 at once, so you have to drop them quickly and

SPOT THE NUMBERS (aka. Psychiatrist)
by Michael Hopkins
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

Michael Hopkins wrote Psychiatrist for the 16K Spectrum. The program
tests how well you can recognise numbers. A number of up to six digits
flashes on the screen and you have to enter the number you see. The time
limit on the screen diminishes steadily. At the end, the overall results
are analysed.

LEAGUE (ZX-81)
by B.M. Haddow
from Sinclair User 22 (January 1984)

League was written by BM Haddow of Akwa, Clackmannanshire for the 16K ZX-81.
Enter the League scores each week and the positions are computed. It is menu-
driven and on loading a list of options is shown. You can enter results, sort
the teams, see the positions, save the program or enter a new set of teams.
If you are dealing with the Canon League, change the '2' in line 3260 to '3'.
